The Vamps tease 'trippy' second album

British pop-rockers The Vamps are currently working on the follow up offering to their 2014 debut 'Meet The Vamps' and have teased that it has a different sound to their first record.

During an interview with Britain's Daily Star newspaper, the band members were asked about their forthcoming new album and frontman Brad Simpson admitted that it's a little 'trippy': "It's still very band-y, but less folky than our debut. It's a bit trippy, a bit 80s, with some MGMT-style synths."

The heartthrobs are gearing up to kick off their headlining arena tour of the UK on Friday, April 17 at the SSE Glasgow Hydro Arena and Simpson revealed how they get ready to hit the stage, adding: "(We listen to) James Bay, Imagine Dragons, Slipknot ... It's all pretty extreme."

The Vamps, meanwhile, recently revealed that they'll be offering one lucky fan an amazing opportunity at each night of their upcoming tour: "We just wanted to let you guys know in advance that we're doing something we've never done before on this tour, and we're going to invite one of you guys at every show to come onstage with us at some point in the set."
