Thorpe Park, which is a British theme park located in Surrey, has announced details of an exciting new summer event that will see live performances from some of the biggest names in music. 

Island Beats is a new addition to the park's schedule and the website describes the event as being a "perfect fusion of rides and live music, including intimate performances from top music acts and extended ride times until 10pm".

Pop-rock band The Vamps are confirmed to take the stage there on July 11, Ella Eyre will perform live on July 24, Rizzle Kicks have been announced for August 1, and the final event will be headlined by Conor Maynard a few weeks later on August 21. Tickets will be on sale soon.

The Vamps, meanwhile, took to their official Twitter page this afternoon (April 15) and shared the exciting news with their followers: "@THORPEPARK launches #ISLANDBEATS and we're headlining! Late night coasters & tunes with us?"
