British pop-rock band The Vamps have told their fans in the USA to stay tuned for a special announcement that's coming to them later this evening (April 28). 

The 'Can We Dance' hitmakers took to their official Twitter page this afternoon and teased the news without hinting at what they might be set to reveal, writing: "7pm announcement #VampsUSA."

The heartthrobs are currently on their headlining UK tour and footage will be shot at the group's upcoming London O2 Arena shows for a special live DVD. The band's media man, Dean Sherwood, tweeted: "Liverpool. Last show before DVD night. The documentary DVD is being filmed all tour @georgina_katiee Live DVD is from The O2."

During a recent interview with Glasgow's Evening Times, James McVey confessed that now that the band are playing arenas he feels like he needs to keep improving on his skills as a musician to keep up: "It's quite a big step up but I'm lucky in that I know the other guys are amazing musically, and there's nothing to worry about there - I just need to up my game to keep up."
