British pop-rock band The Vamps are currently on their UK headlining tour and member Connor Ball had a chat with the Birmingham Mail ahead of their date in the city to talk about weird fan mail. 

The 'Can We Dance' hitmakers will take the stage at Birmingham's LG Arena on May 8 and Ball admitted that they have been sent disgusting things in the post on numerous occasions: "We get sent bodily hair which is pretty vile. And yeah, I mean THAT kind of body hair!!"

Ball was then asked if he ever gets mobbed while he's out walking around and he confessed that he's lucky to be able to go out unnoticed for the most part: "No not really. I did go into the town where I lived once and it was the end of school half term, I was there at 3pm and I got stuck in the McDonalds toilets! Other than that it’s generally fine, we kind of just blend in really."

The Vamps, meanwhile, just announced their first ever headlining tour of America and the first date will take place on July 21 in Florida. They'll also visit Georgia, North Carolina, Maryland, Boston, New York, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Illinois, Minnesota, and California on the jaunt.
