The Vamps' James McVey: 'I love the way music is timeless'

The Vamps star James McVey has reflected on the "timeless" nature of music.

The guitarist and singer posted on Twitter today (May 25) a screenshot of his 2009 EP 'Who I Am' on iTunes.

He added that he still connects with some of the tracks, despite the time gap.

McVey said: "SO weird listening to this 6 years on.

"It's also weird that those songs still mean something to me...I love the way music is timeless."

The track names of the EP songs are 'For Sun and Rain', 'Who I Am', 'Move My Way', 'You' and 'Brightest of Colours'.

The Vamps meanwhile are due to release their second album in November.
