The Vamps writing new music with Ed Drewett

British pop-rock band The Vamps are working on their highly anticipated second studio album and they are currently writing music with Ed Drewett.

Drewett is the writer behind some huge singles, including Olly Murs' 'Dear Darlin'', One Direction's 'Steal My Girl' and 'Best Song Ever', and most recently Little Mix's new offering 'Black Magic'.

Guitarist James McVey took to his official Twitter page this evening and told his followers that they enjoyed a great studio session today, writing: "Great session with @Eddrewett today. Awesome chap!"

The Vamps' sophomore record is due to be released on November 27 and the heartthrobs recently told IB Times that they're making great progress with it: "It's nearly done, we're about two thirds of the way there. The release is 27 November, the first single will be out a couple of months before then hopefully so we're excited to get more music out there."
