The Vamps tell all about their dating lives

British pop-rock band The Vamps have opened up about their current romantic situations and confessed that they're glad that fans are respectful of their privacy.

Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous recently, each member spoke about his current relationship status and how much it means to them that they have such a supportive following. Frontman Brad Simpson explained that he is unattached:

"I’m a single Pringle at the minute. I’ve not even got my eye on anyone. I’m just enjoying my time. I’m a very busy boy, so there’s not much time for anything else. I like nice, genuine, funny girls. Girls who don’t have any edge are way more attractive than girls who try to play games. Although obviously there’s an element of that which is fun!"

James McVey admitted that he is currently dating 19-year-old student Kirstie Brittain and they're now back together after she was accused of cheating on him:

"We’re together, yeah. I was lucky in the sense that most people were sympathetic towards me. But that’s the problem if you’re quite public with someone – if it’s good or bad, there are always going to be rumours. But having the support of the fans means I find it easier to deal with personal stuff I’m going through [...] We’re fine now. We’ve been [back together] since December 3. It’s hard being away, but she lives in London and goes to uni so I’m in town a lot."

Drummer Tristan Evans explained that he isn't single, but doesn't want to speak publicly about his girlfriend: "No, not single. I’m dating. I’d rather not name her, but it’s all very normal. We go out, go to the cinema... We respect that our fans are a separate relationship and we’re super-dedicated to them. We want to meet them and enjoy talking to them and, in the future, we wouldn’t rule out dating one of them. We just don’t like shoving our personal lives in people’s faces and they probably don’t want to know about that stuff anyway."

Connor Ball added: "I’m single but I’m dating... No. Just one, but it’s not anything big. If you want to make a relationship work, you can. I was with a girl before the band started, but once we were going away all the time then it became difficult because we never saw each other."
