The Vamps' James reassures students on exam results day

James McVey, of The Vamps fame, has shared a tweet with his fans at home in the UK today who are receiving their A Level results to reassure them that he has been through that and knows how stressful it can be.

The heartthrob took to his official Twitter page this evening (August 13) and told his followers that he was very scared on results day so his heart goes out to anyone in that position at the moment: "Thinking of you all back home receiving exam results today. Hope it's okay. I remember being petrified."

McVey is known for posting very relatable and down-to-earth messages on his social media platforms and recently opened up about his love of fitness, confessing that it's great to think he is helping inspire people to be healthy: "Absolutely LOVE hearing people who have changed their lifestyles and made a real difference!"

He has also previously spoken out about how damaging the word 'diet' can be: "It's all about moderation in my opinion; the word 'diet' is a word I absolutely despise - it's more about a generally 'healthier lifestyle'. Not holding off sweet things for an amount of time, but actually enjoying a wide variety of foods that are perhaps not the 'norm', taste great, but more importantly are healthy."
