The Vamps' James McVey opens up about dating and expectations

Musician James McVey, of The Vamps fame, has uploaded a new video to his YouTube channel in which he opens up about the things he wants to say to girls.

The heartthrob covers a lot of ground in the video and opens up about make-up, how girls feel about eating in front of their date vs. how men see it, and expectations in general.

He opens the video by talking about how men really feel about women wearing make-up: "We really do not care how much make-up you wear. I think some girls think that before going out on a date they have to spend half an hour getting their face... make-upped. If you enjoy doing that, then great. Don't change. I don't know the difference between contouring and highlighting. I don't know those things! I just want you to come feeling happy and wanting to socialise."

"There's nothing worse than being on a date with a girl and you've ordered loads of food, you know, like three courses... gorging... and then the girl's sat there picking at something. If she has a small appetite, fine, but girls seem to feel like they're stereotypically made to have a salad. I don't care if you have a steak or 5,000 chips or 7 doughnuts."

Other topics McVey touches on include wearing the same outfits twice, the 'Netflix and chill' trend, and perceptions of femininity. You can watch the video in full below.
