The Vamps discuss direction of new studio album

Pop-rock band The Vamps have revealed that their next record will definitely have a dance influence, which is reflected in their latest single "All Night", but it will still predominantly be a "band album".

Chatting to The Star recently, member James McVey explained that it's fun to experiment with genres and they're excited to unveil new music:

"I think the whole album's kind of influenced by dance, but it's still a band album. I think there's a mix of genres between what we were doing on our first album and then dance... so "All Night" is a slight indication of the rest of the sound, but it's probably the most dancey song, as such."

Back in July, the hitmakers admitted that new material is likely to be shared before the end of the year: "We’ve been writing a lot since we’ve been on the road so it’s all coming together a bit more now and we’re starting to develop the sound of the third album so fingers crossed, people will hear new music this year.”
