The Vamps and more takeover BBC Radio 1 Christmas Day

British pop-rock band The Vamps will be doing a live takeover of BBC Radio 1 tomorrow for Christmas Day.

From 12noon until 1pm, the 'Can We Dance' hitmakers will be sharing their favourite festive tracks on the station and tweeting about it this week they wrote: "We are taking over @BBCR1 on Christmas Day at 12pm! Come have a festive dance with us and maybe a mince pie."

In an official statement, the four lads said: “We’re back again on Radio 1’s Christmas Day Superstar line-up alongside the lovely Shawn Mendes and Little Mix… we’ll play you all the big party tunes and get festive on our favourite day of the year. Make sure you listen from midday!”

BBC Radio 1 will also host Christmas Day takeovers from Little Mix (11am-12noon), Shawn Mendes (10am-11am), Panic! At The Disco (1pm-2pm), Alessia Cara (2pm-3pm) and Dua Lipa (3pm-4pm).
