The Vamps' 'Can We Dance' tops UK iTunes chart

The Vamps' 'Can We Dance' EP is currently sitting at No.1 in the UK iTunes albums chart.

The rising British stars unleashed the four-track effort on Sunday (September 29) and it has shot straight to the top of the online chart.

It features the track 'Can We Dance' alongside covers of 'Year 3000', 'MMM Bop' and 'Teenage Kicks'.

The group took to Twitter to encourage their fans to purchase the EP on iTunes, saying: "Please keep sharing the single guys... This week is the most important week for it! Now is the time to buy the club dance remix ;)."

The Vamps meanwhile recently spoke to Pressparty as they answered fans' questions and discussed the sound of their upcoming debut album. Talking meanwhile about supporting Selena Gomez in London, singer Brad Simpson said:

"She was lovely, it was really nice of her to have us on those two dates and they were great. Hammersmith Apollo is a great venue – it was really fun. She invited us onto her bus and we had a chat with her. She’s a lovely…really down to earth girl.
