The Vamps thank fans despite missing out on No.1 single

The Vamps have issued a video to say thanks to their fans after their debut single performed well in the UK charts.

As previously reported, the band's maiden track 'Can We Dance' hit No.2 in the singles chart on Sunday (October 6) despite sitting in the top spot for most of the week.

They lost out to OneRepublic's 'Counting Stars' as the rising Brits were denied their first taste of chart success.

However, they have released a video to say thanks to their fans for propelling them to No.2, with the group appreciative of their silver medal status.

They stated in the video that their burgeoning fanbase means that they can now go on to think about their second single.

The Vamps meanwhile recently took time to speak to Pressparty about their celebrity crushes and the sound of their debut album - read it here.
