Rising stars The Vamps have finally treated their fans to an official update via their website, in which they address their upcoming debut album and highly anticipated second single. 

In a new post on their site, the lads explain that 2014 will be an incredibly busy although followers should expect some exciting announcements before Christmas arrives:

"We are so close to finishing our first album; we've been working hard at putting the final touches to the record and are starting to finalise the track list! Of course anything could change right up until the last minute because... 'It's not final until it's on vinyl' haha! But we think we are nearly there! Watch out for our debut album being released in Easter next year!"

"Secondly, we shot the video for our second single. We CAN NOT WAIT to release this! We can't tell you just yet what the second single is, or when the video is out, however expect to know more within the next month!!!"

They have now confirmed that their second single will be called 'Wildheart' and it's due to be released on January 20 although it will receive its first radio play on Capital FM next Monday, November 25. 

Back in October, the heartthrobs shared a new cover song and at the end of their performance was a teaser clip for their upcoming second single's music video, which was shot in Los Angeles recently.
