The Vamps enjoy first play of new single 'Wild Heart'

'Can We Dance' heartthrobs The Vamps debuted their upcoming second single this morning live on Capital FM.

They recently announced that 'Wild Heart' will be their next official release, which is set to drop on January 20, but it received its first airplay today (November 25) and they shared several photographs of themselves at the radio's studio as the premiere took place.

The 'Wild Heart' music video, which they shot in Los Angeles earlier this summer, is due to be unveiled on December 4 through YouTube and VEVO.

Connor Ball, The Vamps' bassist, took to his Twitter page and thanked the group's followers for the support surrounding their new single and joked that he hoped none of them risked being late for school in order to hear the track's first play: "IF YOU'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL AT THE MOMENT IM SO SORRY #TheVampsOnCapital."

Earlier this month, the stars explained that they have huge plans for next year and can't wait for 2014 to arrive as it will bring the release of their debut studio album along with some other exciting events they are yet to announce:

"Thinking about 2014 is something we get very excited about. We were very lucky this year to release our first single, and we’re totally blown away by the public’s response. Consequently, our main goal for 2014 is to meet as many fans as we can, in as many places as we can.”
