Amelia Lily has revealed that she recorded a duet with 'Commander' superstar Kelly Rowland in the studio "not so long ago". 

The aspiring songstress, who was a finalist on 2011's run of The X Factor, appeared as a guest on yesterday's (January 16) This Morning and confirmed that she has started work on her debut album:

"Me and Kelly actually recorded in the studio not so long ago," she teased. 

She also admitted that luckily, her former mentor Rowland has been fantastic at keeping in touch since the show ended and she even received a voicemail from her over the festive period:

"I've got a lovely voicemail off Kelly which she left me just before Christmas. She said, 'Hello my little Lily'."
