Marcus Collins reveals album title and debut single details

X Factor finalist Marcus Collins has confirmed the title of his forthcoming debut album

The talented singer will release his first record simply under his own name on March 12 and the lead single to be taken from it is confirmed to be his cover of 'Seven Nation Army' by The White Stripes, which premiered yesterday. 

The track will be available to purchase from March 4 and quickly became a trending topic on social networking site Twitter yesterday, receiving a mixed reception from music lovers around the UK. He also thanked fans for their support (January 27) and wrote:

"So excited to hear what you guys think!! X so many nice comments already xxxx"

In addition to The White Stripes cover, his album will feature his own versions of Jackie Wilson's 'Higher and Higher', which he performed on The X Factor, and Janelle Monae's 'Tightrope'.
