36-year-old prison officer Sam Bailey, who wowed the country with her impressive 'X Factor' audition over the weekend, has revealed that she would love to meet Beyoncé.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, the singer and mother explained that it would be great to sit down with the 'Halo' icon and pick her brains, and she would take her to the local café for a fry up if the opportunity ever arose.

Bailey admitted: "I'm expecting a phone call from Beyoncé any minute to say, 'Let's do lunch'. Egg and chips down the caf, the greasy spoon. That'll do me. I'm expecting that any minute now. I'll pay."

Speaking about the public's reaction to her own recent performances on the popular TV vocal talent contest, she added that it's overwhelming:

"Apparently I've had loads of hits on YouTube, nearly 700,000 I think, so it's just phenomenal. I can't wait to go to bed at night so I can sit with my iPad open and just read through the comments. I can't wait to just stop and chill with a cup of tea and get back to people and say thank you. I might go on Digital Spy later and have a look."
