Tinchy Stryder has learnt "from failure" of current album

Tinchy Stryder has revealed his disappointment with the sales of his latest album, 'Third Strike'.

The record was released back in November 2010 but never managed to reach a position within the coveted top 40, which came as a surprise to the urban star after his previous album, 'Catch 22', peaked at 2. He told BBC's Newsbeat:

"To be honest, how I wanted people to hear it, it might not have got to as many people.'

"Catch 22 - the previous album - the success of that commercially compared to Third Strike, it hasn't matched up.'

"It's weird because the music on Third Strike is much more musical and powerful and deeper."

Despite the setbacks 'Third Strike' has encountered, the 'Second Chance' rapper explained that it has only spurred him on to keep progressing:

"You learn more from failure than success, that's real key"

"When a couple of things don't go your way you understand and learn, and adjust what needs to be adjusted."
