Tinie thinks there's more support in British music than ever

The past year has seen a real surge in the wealth of great British music and rapper Tinie Tempah thinks it's because of the mutual support that artists have for each other in the UK.

Speaking to BBC's Newsbeat, the 'Frisky' star explained how this unwritten rule of teamwork is doing great things for the UK's music scene and its reputation within America:

"I just think we're [the British] starting to love ourselves a whole lot more. I love Adele, I love Jessie J, I love James Blake, I love Eliza Doolittle, I love Ellie Goulding - all these people are making their mark over there."

"We all support each other and push each other and we want each other to succeed."

Plan B, who recently scored an impressive 3 wins at the Ivor Novello awards, also spoke up about this and said that he's backing Adele all the way:

"I'm glad that a real artist like that has blown up so much because it says so much about manufactured pop music when someone like Adele goes and does what she's doing in America."
