Tinie Tempah has revealed that strip clubs in America aren't quite what they are made out to be.

Speaking to The Sun, Tinie said that he used to listen to a lot of "southern US rap", which often focused its lyrics on strippers.

However, when Tinie actually went to a strip club in the US, he was left feeling somewhat deflated, with the dancers often there to "strip for their college tuition fees". He said:

"Strip clubs in America are so big. When I was listening to southern US rap, all I was listening to was strippers and strippers' booties. Then I went to a strip club in America. When you see a naked stripper for the first time she gives you a lap dance and tells you she is in college and she is stripping for her tuition fees."

Tinie revealed that he also got a bit jealous when he saw his performer move on to the next man. He continued:

"The minute she goes to somebody else and you see her laughing, it feels like she is cheating on you. I'm like, 'What are you doing? Come back here, I thought we had something! ’'So that's going to take a little while to get used to."
