Tinie Tempah: 'Adele recorded a filthy rap'

'Pass Out' hitmaker Tinie Tempah has revealed that 'Skyfall' songstress Adele did something unexpected in the studio a while back and laid down vocals on a rap track.

He sat down for an interview with Alan Carr on 'Chatty Man' and explained that she will never allow it to be played, but she recorded a "filthy" set of lyrics and actually rapped them:

"I know Adele really well and she was with me and Labrinth in the studio when we recorded Earthquake. She also has this rap she recorded. It’s really filthy."

He added: "She said if we ever play it to anyone she will sue us."

Tinie's forthcoming new album, entitled 'Demonstration', is due to be officially released on November 4 and he recently admitted that he asked Coldplay's Chris Martin for his musical opinion on some of the material that features on it:

"One of the people who I really wanted on the record was Chris Martin, of all people. I went to his studio and played him a lot of the record, and the record I could hear him on. He gave me feedback of what he thought, what he liked and what he didn't like."

His 'Chatty Man' interview and performance will air this evening (November 1) at 10pm on Channel 4 in the UK.
