Tinie Tempah: “Never get married.”

British rap star Tinie Tempah has admitted to having some problems with women.

The ‘Pass Out’ hit-maker – who is currently single – opened up to GQ magazine about his lady troubles.

On the subject of the fairer sex, Tinie informed the men’s publication:

“We will never completely understand them, and it’s pointless even trying.”

As well as sharing his own wisdom the 24-year-old music star also divulged some of the best advice he’s received from others.

When asked for his best “guy tip” by GQ, Tinie cited a nugget of guidance passed on to him by Lionel Richie.

The ‘All Night Long’ crooner’s advice to Tempah was: “Never get married.”

Lionel Richie has been divorced twice. His first marriage to Brenda Harvey ended after 18 years in 1988 due to an extra-marital affair with Diane Alexander, whom he later wed in 1995 but would also divorce in 2004.

Another music elder Tinie Tempah told the magazine he had been excited to meet was U2 frontman Bono.

Tinie – whose real name is Patrick Chukwuemeka Okogwu – explained:

“Bono called me one time about a dinner he was having that he wanted me to attend, we spoke for about 20 minutes and he said he was really impressed that I was already doing venues like the O2 in London. I was so nervous!”

Tinie Tempah’s new album ‘Demonstration’ will be released in the UK tomorrow (November 4).
