Tinie Tempah: 'I cried watching my own documentary'

'Written In The Stars' hitmaker Tinie Tempah has admitted that while watching a new biopic about himself he was overcome with gratitude and emotion, and broke down.

He revealed that after tuning into 'Discovering Destiny', which is his new documentary, he felt overwhelmed by the journey he has been on and the success he has achieved and began to cry:

"I know that sounds a bit weird but it showed everything I have done so far and I found it a bit overwhelming."

The rapper's new album, 'Demonstration', is now available and he added that music mogul Jay Z has been a huge inspiration to him throughout his career to date, and the '99 Problems' superstar has influenced the way in which he works:

"He [Jay Z] has led by example through his art form. He's worked hard, been smart and made really good business decisions. So if you have aspirations as a young black guy to be an artist, a musician and an entrepreneur, and who knows, maybe one day work with tech companies and app companies and drinks brands and all of that, there is someone who has shown people like me that we can do that."

Tinie's UK arena tour is set to kick off at the beginning of next month (December 2) and will come to an end on December 16 at London's O2 Arena. Tickets are on sale for the run of dates now.
