Tinie Tempah: 'I wasn't allowed into my own after party in the USA'British rap sensation Tinie Tempah has revealed that he was shocked to be refused entry to his own after party in America a short while ago. He told TV chat show host Graham Norton that during a previous trip to the USA, he tried to walk into his own event and was barred because security had no idea who it was, which was an embarrassing experience: "We were trying to break America so everything was scaled back. Weeks before I had been performing for between 10 and 15 thousand people (in Britain) and there I was standing on a bar in the middle of the day performing to three or four people." "After one gig, I tried to get into the aftershow and I wasn't allowed in. To make it worse they were playing one of my songs in the background. It was horrible." Tinie, meanwhile, will head out on a full UK tour next spring in support of his new studio album, 'Demonstration', which was released back in November.
