No Doubt album will take “a while’

Gwen Stefani has revealed that although No Doubt are working on new material, the band’s next album won’t be ready for “a while.”

“We’ve been doing a record all year,” Stefani told The Wall Street Journal. “Ten songs have been recorded. I don’t know when it will come out, but you never know what can happen. My band takes a weird process as well. It takes so long. And all of them just had babies so it’ll be a while.”

The last No Doubt album, ‘Rock Steady,’ was released in 2001 and spawned the chart hits ‘Hey Baby,’ ‘Hella Good’ and ‘Underneath It All.’
