Lil Jon donates ‘Apprentice’ prize

Rapper Lil Jon has donated his winnings from this week’s ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ to the children’s home his brother and sister were adopted from.

The Atlanta native was project manager on Team Backbone’s task, which saw them produce a commercial for ACN’s new video phone. Their triumph meant he received a $20,000 prize from Donald Trump, and another $20,000 from ACN, all of which went to the United Methodists Children’s Home in Decatur, Georgia.

“I have a sister and a brother who were foster kids. My mother ended up adopting them,” he explained. “I feel children shouldn't have to suffer for faults of adults."
