Musicians and rock acts ruled GQ's Men of the Year awards
Rockers owned GQ's Men of the Year awards last night (September 6) in London as both U2 and Keith Richards picked up prizes.
Sir Salman Rushdie presented the 'Elevation' hitmakers U2 with the trophy for Band of the Year and frontman Bono said, "growing up is not something you're supposed to do as a rock'n'roll act".
Richards scooped the impressive title Writer of the Year for his autobiography, 'Life', and told the audience, "it's not bad writing a book and getting an award. I'd like to remind everyone don't forget Help for Heroes."
