Union J: "We're going to come back fighting this year"

Union J have told fans to expect a better and stronger version of the band this coming year.

The British group found fame after finishing as finalists on the 2012 series of the UK X Factor and their self-titled debut album reached No.6 when it was released in 2013.

However, the quartet told Digital Spy that their new material is better than ever, with the band doing all they can to guard themselves against complacency.

Jaymi Hensley said: "I think we all - ourselves included - rested on our laurels being from The X Factor and One Direction coming from the show, and just thought it might be a lot easier."

JJ Hamblett meanwhile said of the band's new material: "We feel that the songs we've got now are a lot stronger than our last album."
