Union J have called upon the Great British public to enter this year's X Factor series.

The boyband were formed on the 2012 edition of the UK reality TV show before bowing out as finalists.

Even though they lost out to eventual winner James Arthur, the quartet have enjoyed a successful career since leaving the show.

They have now appeared in a new promo video to encourage people to audition for the 2014 X Factor.

The show's supremo Simon Cowell meanwhile is due to return to the programme as a judge.

The new father recently revealed that he is trying to coax fellow former judge Cheryl Cole into returning to the show.
