Union J on X Factor: 'Cheryl runs the show'

Union J have given their thoughts on this year's X Factor judging panel.

The boyband rose to prominence on the UK show in 2012 before finishing fourth.

This year's judging panel sees the return of Cheryl and Simon Cowell, whilst Mel B is also a new addition alongside veteran Louis Walsh.

Speaking to Capital FM, Jaymi Hensley said:

"I think Cheryl's going to have Simon's balls literally the whole time. Everything he says, she'll just look at him as if to say 'shut up'.

"I love her because she literally runs that show, doesn't she?"

Speaking meanwhile about their forthcoming second album, JJ Hamblett said:

"I think this year, obviously it takes a year for us to kind of find out exactly what direction we want to go down. This year, we wrote 70% of the album - it just feels more us."
