Union J: 'We want to be around for years'

Union J have expressed their desire to have a long career.

The boyband found fame on the 2012 series of the X Factor, with the group finishing as finalists.

They have just released their second album 'You Got It All' after its title track landed at No.2 on the UK singles chart.

Speaking to the Daily Record, JJ Hamblett indicated his band's wish to stay active for years.

He said: "We never wanted to be one-hit wonders. We want longevity.

"We want to be like Take That or Westlife and be around for years, that’s what we hope to do."
