Boasting the Single of The Week accolade on BBC Radio 1 this week with world renowned  DJ Zane Lowe - The Gaslight Anthem have made their brand new single, “45” available on iTunes (http://smarturl.it/i45) and Amazon (http://smarturl.it/a45).  

The Gaslight Anthem will take the stage in the US this week for two intimate sold-out gigs at the Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn (May 16th) and The Roxy in West Hollywood (May 18th). 

The shows are the prelude to a full schedule of tour dates, festivals, and television appearances throughout the summer in support of their highly anticipated fourth album, “Handwritten”, scheduled for July 23rd release on Mercury Records.
 
Their show at London’s KOKO sold out in record time and promises to be an evening not to be missed for the lucky ones who managed to grab a ticket! The band will also be supporting Soundgarden on a number of their European headline shows in June.
 
On June 28th, The Gaslight Anthem will appear (for the third time!) on CBS’s The Late Show with David Letterman. The band will also make a return appearance on NBC's Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, on July 27th.
 
The Gaslight Anthem will kick off the “Handwritten” album release campaign with a livestream of the Music Hall of Williamsburg show presented by Vans, starting at 9:00 p.m (EST) on May 16th, at http://new.livestream.com/thegaslightanthem.
 
“Handwritten”, The Gaslight Anthem’s first album on Mercury Records, was produced by two-time Grammy Award®-winner Brendan O’Brien, known for his work with Bruce Springsteen (Best Rock Album Grammy, 2002), Pearl Jam, Incubus and many others.

The Gaslight Anthem have several major festival appearances in the forthcoming months, including opening for Bon Jovi at Bamboozle in East Rutherford, NJ (May 20th); appearing at the Metallica Orion Festival in Atlantic City, NJ (June 23rd) and Lollapalooza at Grant Park in Chicago.  European dates include Le Zenith de Paris on May 29th and Zitadelle Spandau in Berlin on May 31st opening for Soundgarden. The band will also appear at this years Reading and Leeds festivals in the UK.
