Today, we’re thrilled to announce VEVO is available on Samsung Smart TV.

Continuing our efforts to bring VEVO experiences to the television, users can access our library of 75,000 HD music videos, exclusive original programming and live concert performances on Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray players. And, like all VEVO platforms, we’ve customized our new app to take advantage of all Samsung TV has to offer.

Designed specifically with the television in mind, as soon as you enter our app you’ll see VEVO TV, our always-on broadcast-style linear music channel built by expert human programmers. Having VEVO TV front and centre allows you to sit back and enjoy without having to worry about what to watch.

For a lean-back experience, our app also features genre stations for continuous play. Simply select a genre you’re in the mood to listen to and let VEVO’s Samsung Smart TV app do the work.

Finding something to watch is easy with VEVO’s browse categories. Select a video from our most viewed, live performances, shows, emerging artists, and our latest premieres. Once you’ve selected a video, we keep the hits coming with our intelligent recommendations system.

If you have something particular in mind, our search will surface relevant artists and videos. When you select an artist via search, we’ll bring you to a viewing experience with all the videos from that particular artist.

For a personalized experience, sign on using your VEVO credentials and sync the playlists you’ve created across all our platforms to the VEVO for Samsung Smart TV app.

We’ve made it easy to add videos during playback to your existing playlists using Samsung hot keys. While watching a video, simply hit the “A” key and choose which playlist to add the video to. You can also add to playlists while you’re browsing related videos in the player.

If you’re new to the VEVO ecosystem and don’t have an account, not to worry. You can create a playlist with up to 7 videos without having to login.

VEVO on Samsung Smart TV, featuring VEVO TV and our video on demand content is available in the US, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Spain and the UK. Only users with 2012 and 2013 Samsung Smart TVs and Blu-ray players can access the VEVO app.
