With just two months to go before the third Vantastival festival, excitement is building as

God is an Astronaut and Cathy Davey have been confirmed to headline at the new Bellurgan Park venue in Co. Louth.  Other acts on this year’s bill include Ham Sandwich, Frankie Gavin & DeDannan, Le Galaxie, Rarely Seen Above Ground and The Original Rudeboys.  The three acts on the line up for this Saturday’s press launch are amongst a host of unsigned Irish bands, who will also take to the Vantastival stage over the May bank holiday weekend.

The Vantastival launch party is open to the public with a €5 entry fee including free beer, while attendees are also invited to bring their own.  The Vantastival earlybird weekend tickets sold out online last week but a very limited number will be available to purchase on the night at a discounted €65 for three nights camping.

D-Light Studios are located at 46 North Great Clarence Street, Dublin 1, just a five minute walk from Connolly Station.
