Will.i.Am thinks the music industry as we know it might be on the way out

Hitmaker Will.i.Am has revealed that he strongly believes the music industry as we know it will eventually come to an end.

Speaking to an audience during a Cannes Lions event, the 'Boom Boom Pow' sensation explained that while music will always be a much loved art form, the industry side of things may eventually change to the point where it's unrecognisable from what it is now:

"Music will always be music. Whether or not there is an industry is questionable. I don't really know how we make money moving forward because of the tsunami called mad tech... there was mad men and now there's mad tech, it transforms everything."

Back in March, Will.i.Am told The Sun newspaper that he would love to make living in Britain a permanent thing because he has grown very fond of the country: "I want to become a proper Brit. I have been coming here for years and I just like it, it feels like home. I want to live in The Shard but it is expensive and this show doesn't really pay the bill but I'll figure it out."
