Will.i.Am unveils fascinating mini-documentary about The Louvre

Hitmaker Will.i.Am has announced that footage from his private tour of the iconic French museum The Louvre, which included the creation of a special song, is now available to watch online.

In a video message posted to Twitter this evening, the superstar explained that he is really excited to share this project with the world because it has taken five years to finish:

"What's up, everybody? I'm right here at the Louvre. Right now, you can go on Daily Motion and check out not only the documentary for the Louvre, but check out the video that took five years to come to reality. I wrote 'Mona Lisa Smile' five years ago at the Louvre - in front of the Mona Lisa - and now the video is watchable at Daily Motion. Thank you guys so much and check it out!"

The statement that accompanies the video, which is just over 13 and a half minutes long, reads: "Will.i.am was Invited by the Louvre to speak of Art, of its creation and its Future with Frédéric Dassas (Senior creator of the Department of Decorative Arts) and David Rowan (Editor of Wired UK)." To watch Will.i.Am at The Louvre, click here
