Will.i.Am donates £15,000 of computer gear to London youth music project

Black Eyed Peas superstar Will.i.Am surprised a youth music project in East London recently (May 28) with a £15,000 donation of electrical goods.

'The Voice' judge and 'Boom Boom Pow' hitmaker visited a group of people involved in the Prince's Trust Programme, named Get Started with Music, and offered to provide them with MacBook computers and Apple gear to use when making tunes.

He also sent a public message to a Twitter user involved in the project and wrote:

"@talentchild I want to see you Guys win...when I went to east London you guys reminded me of me when I was your age...#makeyourdreamshappen"
