Will.i.am wants to return to next series of The Voice UK

Will.i.am has revealed that he wants to return as a coach for the next series of The Voice UK.

The Black Eyed Peas star, who recently admitted that the BBC talent show doesn’t always make for good TV, told the Sunday Mirror that he has no plans of giving up his place on the red chair:

“I’ll definitely come back. I have really enjoyed my time on the show. I’ve already started recording with Tyler James, Jaz Ellington and Jay Norton.”

The 37-year-old, whose remaining finalist, Tyler James, lost out to Team Tom winner Leanne Mitchell in last night’s final, also said he wants the contestants he’s working with to release their material as soon as possible:

“The annoying thing for me is people go on these shows but it takes forever for their albums to come out. I wanted to do The Voice because I want to speed up the process.

"I just want to come live in London and do that.”
