Will.i.am told off by Voice UK bosses for standing on chair

Will.i.am has been warned by producers of The Voice UK after standing on one of their chairs.

The reality show is famed for its swiveling seats that reveal if a coach is interested in teaming up with the singer on stage.

However, it seems will.i.am was a little too excited when filming for the reality programme's upcoming second series.

The Black Eyed Peas man revealed that he was cautioned for standing on his chair as it swiveled. He said:

"One time when the chair turned around, I stood up on it. They pulled me aside and said, 'just in case it falls or breaks'. But I was like, 'isn't this thing secure?'."

Colleague Danny O'Donoghue added: "They're not for standing on. It's health and safety."

The second series of The Voice UK is due to air on March 30.
