Will.i.am has premiered the cover art for his forthcoming new album.

The Voice UK coach is due to release his fourth solo record '#willpower' on April 22 in the UK and April 23 in the US.

It has been long-awaited, suffering numerous delays and false hopes following its initial 2012 release date.

Will.i.am has now unveiled the artwork for the album, with the singer's head surrounded by colourful orange.

As previously reported, the Black Eyed Peas man has teamed up with a number of high-profile acts for '#willpower'.

The album features cameos from the likes of Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger and Miley Cyrus.

'#willpower' will follow-up previous solo release 'Songs About Girls', which hit shelves back in 2007.
