Jada Pinkett-Smith has insisted that there is nothing untoward about a picture which recently surfaced of her daughter Willow lying in bed with actor Moises Arias.

A image of the duo appeared via Kylie Jenner's Tumblr account recently, showing 13-year-old Smith in a bed with a topless Arias.

This prompted controversy because the age difference between the two friends, but mother Jada-Pinkett Smith has dismissed any notions wrongdoing.

She told TMZ: "Here's the deal. There was nothing sexual about that picture of that situation. You guys are projecting your trash onto it...and your acting like covert paedophiles and that's not cool."

The photo has since been deleted from its source, but it has been spread online.

Willow Smith meanwhile broke into the mainstream with the release of her hit single 'Whip My Hair', which came out in 2010.
