Zayn Malik is gearing up this week for the release of his first solo album.

The singer will unleash 'Mind of Mine' on Friday (March 25).

The record will come one year to the day that he quit One Direction.

Malik has so far unveiled tracks like 'Pillowtalk', 'It's You' and 'Like I Would' from the album.

On Friday (March 18) he previewed a number of other songs in his first Periscope broadcast.

The Brit's first single 'Pillowtalk' instantly topped charts across the world earlier this year.

It is expected that 'Mind of Mine' will do the same in countries such as the UK and the US.
