'Pillowtalk' sensation Zayn Malik, formerly of One Direction fame, has been confirmed to perform at this year's Capital FM Summertime Ball. 

The solo star has now joined the already impressive line-up for the event, which will take place on June 11 at Wembley Stadium in London.

Tickets for the concert went on sale at 8am in the UK this morning (April 28). 

Other performers already announced to take the stage include Nick Jonas, Jess Glynne, Will.i.Am, The Vamps, Years & Years, Tinie Tempah, Lukas Graham, Zara Larsson, Little Mix, Nathan Sykes, Flo Rida, Mike Posner, Craig David and Sigala.
