Adam Lambert has admitted his desire to see Janet Jackson return to music.

The singer's last studio album came in the shape of 2008's 'Discipline' but little activity has been forthcoming since.

'Trespassing' icon Lambert, however, took to Twitter to call out Jackson directly and express his longing for the 'Scream' star.

He said: "Where's @JanetJackson these days? I miss ur music mama!"

Lambert meanwhile recently uploaded a series of videos to Instagram of his band rehearsing Jessie Ware's 'Wildest Moments'.

He told the Brit on Twitter: "I'm obsessed w your song. It resonates so deeply. Thank You."

The rising star uploaded a photo (see directly below) of herself with Lambert today (January 24), along with the caption: "How perfect!!! Finally we meet."
