Adam Lambert on rumoured new lyrics: 'They ain't mine'

'Trespassing' superstar Adam Lambert has told his followers that the lyrics that surfaced online recently don't belong to him and weren't taken from one of his songwriting sessions.

Spin or Bin Music uploaded a photograph today of a notebook that had some lyrics scrawled in it, and it was suggested that they were taken from Lambert's forthcoming new album. Writing on his official Twitter page earlier this evening (March 31), the vocal powerhouse confirmed that the lyrics are definitely not his:

"Nope -- those ain't my lyrics. I use my iPad to write mine. Cool handwriting though."

Singer-songwriter Joe Janiak recently opened up to Billboard about Lambert's new record, telling the magazine that it will have a 'strong focus on songwriting':

"I think there are going to be big things on this record, because the focus is on really strong songwriting and performance and stuff like that. They're really locking in on all of [Lambert's] strong points and just making him even better. I think that's definitely going to be an exciting one."
