Adam Lambert has revealed that he is due to start rehearsing with Queen soon.

The veteran rockers and the vocal powerhouse are due to embark on a rare North America tour from June.

They will play a number of arenas in the US and Canada, as well as a few dates in Asia in August.

Lambert took to Twitter to confirm that the Queen camp are due to meet up soon to run through their set, with the singer saying:

"I'm currently working on music for my next album and will soon begin rehearsals for the Queen Tour! I'm so excited!!!!"

As mentioned by the Glee star, the 'Trespassing' man is currently working on his third full-length album.

Lambert has been in Sweden to create tunes for the record, with the likes of producer Max Martin helping out.
