Adam Lambert on rumours about a Freddie Mercury hologram: 'The band thought it was ridiculous'

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert was in London last night (June 3) for the annual Glamour Women of the Year Awards and addressed a rumour about his forthcoming concerts with Queen.

When asked by a reporter on the red carpet if it's true that there might be an appearance from a Freddie Mercury hologram, in the same way there have been recent Michael Jackson and Tupac Shakur performances, Lambert laughed and confessed that the iconic rock band isn't keen to resurrect the frontman in such a way:

"I think that was talked about and the band kind of scoffed at it and thought it was a ridiculous idea, so I don't think that will be happening!"

During the brief interview, the 'Trespassing' sensation also opened up about his forthcoming new studio album and admitted that he's really excited about the project and how it's shaping up: "I'm working on an album. I'm very excited by it. I think people are going to be surprised and excited by it."
