Adam Lambert says he is back working towards the completion of his next album.

The singer opened proceedings on his third record before going on tour with Queen this summer.

Dates in regions such as North America and Asia have now been concluded and Lambert took to Twitter to state that he is ready to finish his album.

The vocal powerhouse said: "I'm thrilled to get back home and complete my upcoming third solo album. #3rdtimesaCharm ;)."

Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Lo meanwhile previously revealed that she had been working with Lambert on the record.

The album will follow-up 2012's 'Trespassing', which reached No.1 in the States.

Lambert's first record meanwhile came in the shape of 2009's 'For Your Entertainment'.
