Adam Lambert celebrates debut album's 5th anniversary

Vocal powerhouse Adam Lambert released his debut album, entitled 'For Your Entertainment', five years ago today in 2009 and he has thanked fans around the world for their enthusiasm about it.

The superstar took to his official Twitter page this afternoon (November 24) to explain that he unveiled the record half a decade ago and thanked followers for submitting details about their favourite songs from the offering to Idolator in celebration of the milestone:

"Happy 5th Birthday to my debut album! Thank you fans for your song by song interpretation. I love u guys!"

Lambert, meanwhile, is working on his new album and recently teased to KIIS-FM that he's trying 'something different' this time around: “I’m not gonna say too much, because I like to try to keep things under wraps. I’m actually not too good at that, but I’m trying something new. The element of surprise in this post-Beyoncé world [...] Yeah, I’m working on this album, I’m really excited about it."

He also admitted that he signed to a new label and is working with a new team: "I got signed to another label, which I’m not going to reveal right now, but it’s a really good deal and it’s a good project. I’m working with an amazing executive producer. Again, I can’t say too much, but it’s going to be really good.”
